ESOGU Special Education Laboratory (ÖZLAB)

The opening of the Special Education Laboratory (ÖZLAB) established within the Department of Special Education was held on Tuesday, 10 March 2020 with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Kemal ŞENOCAK, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Rifat EDİZKAN, Dean Prof. Dr. Özden TEZEL, Head of Special Education Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevin GÜNER YILDIZ and Provincial Directorate of National Education administrators. ÖZLAB, which was established in the autumn term of 2019-2020 academic year, has been actively used since the spring term of 2019-2020 academic year. 

Services Provided

The services to be provided in ÖZLAB are; developmental, behavioural and educational evaluations of individuals aged 0-18 with developmental delay or at risk; providing support to families, teachers, specialists and other stakeholders in the field of inclusion of individuals with various disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder, special learning disability and intellectual disability, and providing consultancy to guide them in the right way. The listed services are provided by the academicians of ESOGU Special Education Department.
